Mark was appointed Chief Commercial Officer at Connected Energy from October 1st, 2018. Prior to joining Connected Energy, Mark was living and working in Paris as Global Key Program Director for Demand Side Management and Storage at ENGIE and Senior Domain Director for ENGIE New Ventures.

Mark had been with ENGIE, formerly GDF Suez for 18 years, moving to Paris in 2007. In that time, he was appointed Head of Global Energy, responsible for the European Key Accounts business unit and leading their transition to energy solutions. Prior to Engie, Mark was a co-founder of RWE Trading Direct Ltd., and a pioneer of the first demand response initiatives with Yorkshire Electricity in the mid-90s.

Mark graduated from Kellogg Business School at Northwestern University, Chicago in 2000 and holds a Business Studies degree.
