Nic joined Energy Pool in 2013 as a senior Operations Research Engineer. Since then, Nic has taken on a variety of positions (including Business Analyst, Project Manager and Customer Engagement Manager) providing him with a strong experience in the management of complex IT projects with cross-national teams. In particular, he has had the opportunity to work for and build strong long-term working relationships with clients in South Korea and in Japan. Throughout his eight-year career at Energy Pool, Nic has always kept a keen interest and a strong involvement in the development of Energy Pool's applications using optimisation techniques.
Prior to joining Energy Pool, Nic has lived and worked in Australia for 10 years where he participated in the development of the National Electricity Market (NEM) working for clients such as the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO), the Australian Energy Market Commission (AEMC) and various other NEM participants (private and public). While in Australia, Nic also worked for clients in South-East Asia such as Singapore's Energy Market Authority (EMA) and the Philippines Electricity Market Corporation (PEMC).
After he gained his Masters degree (Mathematics and Information Technology Engineering), Nic stayed on at Paris-Dauphine University for an additional year of postgraduate studies, specialising in Decision Support and Operations Research.
