Mark has a leading role in driving renewable energy investments at 127 Energy from sourcing deals to strategic direction. He began his career in renewable energy in 1997 by identifying, planning and launching a new business line for Green Mountain Energy. He then founded Think Energy, Inc. in 2000 building on his years of experience in the energy and environmental sectors and ran the company until it was acquired by CohnReznick LLP. Having successfully developed and managed new portfolios of renewable energy products on more than 1 gigawatt of projects, Mark has direct insight on the retail and wholesale electricity markets and has leveraged that knowledge when helping clients define, acquire and implement renewable energy systems. He holds a B.A. in History from University of California- Davis and a M.S. from the Johns Hopkins University in Environmental Science and Policy.
