Roger Sallent is Regional Team Leader for Asia-Pacific at Trama TecnoAmbiental, S.L. (TTA). He is an engineer and certified Project Manager with consulting expertise in the fields of renewable energies, energy efficiency and green building and with an extensive field experience.
From his current position he has successfully coordinated TTA projects in Asia (Palestine, Lebanon, Bahrain, Afghanistan, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Indonesia), the Pacific (Papua New Guinea, Micronesia, Vanuatu, Tuvalu, Nauru) and Africa (Cameron, Equatorial Guinea and Nigeria). His experience covers the entire value chain of the energy access sector, from high-level policy support and energy planning to detailed engineering design and construction supervision in renewable energy and rural electrification projects.
Formerly he was employed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) as country energy specialist for Suriname, a position from which he managed the energy portfolio of the country. He previously lived and worked in China, where he built strong field experience as construction manager in complex capital projects.
