Stefania Mitova is a Lead Research Analyst at TRC Companies where she specializes in the implementation of data analytics methodologies to energy efficiency utility programs. Prior to joining TRC, she has also worked as a Senior Energy Analyst and Senior Quantitative Analyst at The Breakthrough Institute and Exelon respectively. These positions have had a focus on utility energy modeling -- e.g. machine learning models. Stefania holds a PhD from the University of Colorado Boulder where her dissertation was on smart grids -- at this Forum she is presenting her dissertation work, which she completed at this university. She also has a Masters in Environmental Science from Wageningen University and a Bachelor in Architecture from Wellesley College.
